Astitchworks Concepts: BEGINNER SEWING COURSES

The program is a more comprehensive course for Individual learning (1 to 1) with a flexible schedule of candidates’ arrangements (subject to availability).

This is a learners' chance to combine creativity with newly learned technical skills to learn how to produce fashionable garments for every occasion. We can help learners create their basic drafting pattern from scratch to master the skills and fit learners satisfactorily.

Learn sewing skills including taking body measurements, layout options, facing, gathers, pockets, zippers, hems, hand stitches, and selecting patterns, fabrics and equipment. Learners will make a basic formal and casual dress, blouse, skirt, and pants. Using relevant tools, equipment and basic sewing machine and basic sewing techniques. Construction of darts, gathers, zips, hems, collars, cuffs, facings, waistbands, etc. Laying patterns onto fabric, costing fabric, etc.

This class is designed to empower Learners with the ability to skillfully sew basic outfits and quickly advance to the next level of sewing with ease. Learners will learn how to operate their sewing machines and use the attachments that come with their machines. Learners will also acquire basic sewing techniques that will last their lifetime.

No Assessment
85% is required for their attendance and complete assignments for certification attainment
